Welcome to The Golden Virtues – Golden Retriever Breeder in Utah
I’m Heather, and I’m so glad you’re here. Golden Retrievers have become a huge part of my life, and what started with one dog has grown into a passion for learning about health, temperament, training, showing, and preserving this incredible breed.

Our Story
I’ve always loved Golden Retrievers, but everything changed in 2021 when Faith joined our family.
What started with service dog training quickly turned into a passion for learning more about the breed. We started training, meeting other breeders, earning titles, and attending conformation shows. At one of those shows, I met my mentor, who opened the door to a deeper understanding of pedigrees, health testing, structure, and responsible breeding.
Faith didn’t just help me learn about dogs. She also helped me with my anxiety. Having her by my side helped me get out more, try new things, and meet people I never would have met otherwise.
Today, I can’t imagine my life without these dogs. They have brought me so much happiness, and I feel lucky to spend each day learning, growing, and sharing my life with them.
Showing, Training, and Having Fun
Showing and training have become a fun part of our journey. While earning titles is exciting, my favorite part has been the people we’ve met and the experiences we’ve shared with our dogs along the way.
Through conformation shows, dog sports, and training, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with judges, mentors, and other breeders who share a love for Golden Retrievers. We currently participate in conformation and companion events and are always looking for new things to try with our dogs.

Life at Our Home
Life with Golden Retrievers is never boring! Our dogs live in our home and are a big part of our everyday lives. Whether we’re spending time with family, working around the house, or relaxing in the evening, our dogs are usually right beside us.
Living in rural Utah gives us plenty of opportunities to get outdoors. Our dogs love exploring the mountains, going on hikes, running in the yard, and joining us on family adventures.
At the end of the day, they’re happiest being with their people. They sleep on comfy beds, play with our four children, and are very spoiled and loved
